Magento2 Marketplace Pre-Order: Magento2 Marketplace Pre-Order module will allow to the creation of orders for products that are “Out Of Stock” or have not yet been released. Using this module will allow buyers to purchase out-of-stock products.
Please Note - This module is an add-on to Magento 2 Marketplace Module. To use this module you must have installed Webkul Magento 2 Marketplace Module first.
Highlighted Features
Partial Payment for PreOrders
The vendors can select the percentage type for preorders based on that the customers need to pay some percentage amount for preorders.
Complete Payment for PreOrder
The Vendor can set a complete payment type that allows customers to pay 100% amount for placing any preorder.
Stock Availability Timer
The admin/vendors can select the time for the stock availability of any pre-order.
Automatic Notification for Stock Availability
The admin/vendors can set the mode of notification as automatic which allows the customers to get automatic mail notifications for stock availability.
GraphQL Compatible
Now the extension is compatible with GraphQL.

What Is The Use Of This Module and Why Should I Use It?
If you want a solution that can gauge the level of demand for your newly released product. The Magento 2 Pre-Order Marketplace Add-on is one such solution that will determine accurate order quantities to ensure optimal inventory control of the products which are about to be launched in the store.
The extension is useful for products that are about to be launched or not launched yet in the store. Customers can pay in advance or book their items to guarantee assured delivery. It helps the store owner in analyzing the demand as well as initial sales of the upcoming product. The module is also useful for products that are not in stock.
Order Out Of Stock Product
Now buyers can create orders for products that are currently “Out of Stock” or have not yet been released. Using this module customers can pay a full or partial payment that has been set by the admin or seller from their panel for the Pre-Order product.
- Users can order “Out of Stock” products.
- If the Pre-order type is “Complete Payment” then the customer pays the complete amount while placing the order.
- If the Pre-order type is “Percent Payment” then the customer pays the percent amount (Defined by Admin or Seller) while placing the order.
- After completing the Pre-order with percent payment customers will be able to see their Pre-Ordered products under “My Orders”.
- Customers will be able to complete their order if the product is in Stock.
Pre-order Configuration
Admin and Sellers both can configure this module as per their requirement.
- Can set the Pre-order type as “Percent Payment” or “Complete Payment”.
- Can set Custom Percentage of the amount to be paid for Pre-Order product.
- Can enable the Pre-Order Per Product, All Products, Few products, and All Products except a few.
- Can set Custom Message to display on Pre-Order product.
- Can set send email to the customer when product is in stock as “Automatic” or “Manual”.
- Can set Pre-Order status and availability date.
Pre-order Order Management
Sellers can manage received pre-order orders very easily. Sellers can view all received pre-orders under “Preorder Management > Orders”. Here sellers can also notify customers through mail about the availability of the product.
