Discount is very lucrative whether the party is a seller or a vendor. Everyone craves discounts. Also, they help increase sales, boost reputation, meet sales goals, etc. Moreover, getting good deals online is one of the main reasons a vendor or a customer seeks before purchasing a product.
Odoo Discount On Purchase Order enables you to apply the discount on the purchase orders. And you can apply fixed and percentage discounts separately on each order line. The module also provides you with an extra option of deciding the exact amount of discount you wish to provide to your vendor.
Unlike default, the fixed type discount helps you to decide the amount of the discount you wish to provide to your vendors.

- The Odoo Discount on Purchase Order module enables you to apply a discount on purchase orders both Orderline-wise and globally on the whole order.
- You can apply a fixed and percent type discount on Odoo purchase order lines.
Apply The Discount On The Entire Purchase Order Too In Odoo
- The module enables you to apply Fixed and percent type Global discounts on the entire purchase order.
- You can enable/disable Global Discount On Odoo Purchase Orders From the Configuration Settings.
Manage The Configuration Of The Type Of Amount From The Odoo Backend
- You can apply discounts on taxed and untaxed amounts (easily set from configuration settings.
- The module automatically carries the applied discount details to the purchase order reports.

Set the Discount Type in Odoo
- The module enables you to apply Fixed and percent type Global discounts on the entire purchase order.
- Also, configure the settings whether you want to apply a global discount on the tax added amount or the untaxed amount.
- Apply fixed or percentage discount on any order line.
- You can also apply global and order line discounts in the same order.
- The system will automatically calculate the correct price of the entire order.
- Create a bill after receiving the products from the vendor.
- Further, create RFQ (Request for Quotation) after creating quotations.
Select Between the Fixed and Percent Type Discount
- As soon as you set the discount price, you can select either fixed type or percent type discount.
- The discount type will also be shown in the purchase order.
- Also, the module gives you an extra option to decide the exact amount of discount you wish to provide to your vendor.
- Generated invoice or bill will contain the details of the discount.
- Multiple products can have different types of discounts applied to them.
- You can apply a global discount on the sub-total price of the products.
- Configure the global discount in the backend from the invoicing section of the settings.
