Opencart Rental Appointment Event Booking Reservation

The admin can configure the "Opencart Advanced Booking and Reservation system" extension configuration. Here the admin can do the following settings:

• Set the time zone of the store.
• Enable or disable the status of the extension.
• Set the date format that will be visible to the customers at the frontend.
• Allow the customer to cancel the booking.
• Enable or disable the booking cancellation approval.
• Set the booking slot background color.
• Set the loader color on the booking slot section.

The admin will navigate to Catalog -> Products and edit any product in which the admin wants to add reservations. There the admin will Complete all the fields according to guidelines and can create the:

• Multiple time slots for “Many booking in one-day” type bookable product by selecting the Booking type as “Many Bookings In One Day”.
• Multiple days slots for “One Booking for many days” type Bookable product by selecting the Booking type as “One Booking for many days”.
• Hour wise or day wise “Customer time-based booking” by selecting the Booking type as “Customer time-based booking”.

Admin can set many bookings for one day in a given time frame. Admin can select the date between which the booking will be available. Admin can set start and end date of each booking.

• Admin can set many bookings in one day for a different time slot.
• Admin can set booking time for each slot.
• Admin can set break time between two slots.
• Admin can set start and end time of each day of the week, even if he wants he can close the booking for the desired day.

Admin can set one booking for many days and define the date between which booking will get available. Admin can also define the days on which booking will get available. This booking can also add quantity to the booking.

• Admin can enable One Booking for Many Days.
• Admin can set the slots of booking according to the days in the week.
• Admin can set start and end time of every booking slot.

Admin can set customer time based booking hour wise or day wise, according to which customers are charged for booking. If this booking is active on a product then there is no time frame for customers, they can book the slot according to their need.

The admin can configure yes or no for the same slots for all days and set yes or no for the quantity of the slots.

The admin can either enable or disable the status of rental booking and can also set the location for renting products. The admin can configure enable or disable to display the location on the map. The admin can set the renting type as ‘daily basis’, ‘hourly basis+daily basis’, or ‘hourly basis’. The admin can set the price for daily basis renting and hourly basis renting.

• The admin can choose booking type as rental booking.

Under Event Booking a user can make reservations for events such as movies, music concerts, theater shows etc. If the admin selects a ‘no’ for multiple ticket types only a single ticket is created. If the admin selects ‘yes’ for multiple ticket types then the admin can create multiple tickets.

The customers can check their order history for the ordered booking item by navigating to the “My Booking History” menu option. Under this section, the customer can:

• Find all the placed orders for the booking products.
• View the complete details of the respective order.
• Download the order details as a PDF.
• Also, cancel the order if enabled by the admin.

The customers of the store can choose refundable or non-refundable bookings both as per requirements.

• The customers are provided with a refundable booking only if the store admin enables it.
• The customers can check the applied charges of the refund.
• The module also helps the customers to cancel refunds.
• The admin can add reward points for the customer’s post cancel refunds.
