Why Need Prestashop Product Trial?
One of the main reasons why customers prefer to shop at a brick-and-mortar store is the fact they get to see, touch, and feel the products before making a decision on whether to purchase. They can check how well the dress fits them and be sure of the size, color, defect, etc.
Online shopping does not offer the customers to experience the product. They have to make their purchase decision based on images and videos.
This limitation can be alleviated with the Prestashop Product Trial. Give customers a chance to try or test the products in the convenience of their own homes. Letting customers try a variation of products to determine which one works best for them will help you increase their overall satisfaction.
Add Trial Order Status and Policy
Prestashop trial order allows the store to add multiple trial order statuses. Trial order statuses created by admin will be displayed to the customers on the order details page. Admin can create own policy which will be applicable on the orders placed for trial.
Trial Orders
A separate tab for admin from where he can view all the orders placed for trial. Admin can view current trial order status, trial duration, trial product details, trial amount, and update the status of trial order.
Reduced Return Rates
Since customers can try the products before actually purchasing it, there will be fewer reasons to return the products like size issue, wrong product delivered etc. Reduced return rates leads to increased sales conversion on the store.
Prestashop Product Trial Features -
- Configure the trial period expiration message to be sent to the customer.
- Email notification to both customer and admin when a customer places an order for trial.
- Email notification to both customer and admin when trial order status gets changed.
- Admin can enable/disable multiple trial orders of the same product.
- With restock quantity feature, quantity of the product ordered for trial will automatically be restocked once the customer returns the product.
- Allow/Disallow voucher on trial product.
