This module allows the admin to create custom order statuses that can be used by the admin as well as by vendors. The admin can set the visibility of the created custom order status for the customers and vendors. Using this module the vendors can communicate with the admin over any ordered product for any related query. This will help the customers to know the current status of the order placed.
This is an add-on to Webkul's Magento 2 Multi-Vendor Marketplace, so you need to install Marketplace modules first.

Why do we need Marketplace Order Tracker for Magento 2?
Order tracking is an essential requirement of any eCommerce store. If the admin provides the option for tracking the order to the customer then it will enhance the shopping experience of the customer. Buyers will trust your store and purchase products from it. With the help of this module, the admin can enable the tracking status of the product for buyers and sellers both.
All statuses will create by the admin and apply as per the assigned sequence. To manage step-by-step tracking updates on product order admin can use Magento 2 Marketplace Order Tracker module.
Product Tracking Status
The admin can enable this module from the admin panel and allow the tracking of products separately.
- The admin needs to configure it first from the configuration section.
- They need to set the status, shipping destination, status sequence, and status description.
- Once the setting is complete, it will show on the customer’s end.
- Sellers can also check the tracking status of the product.
Create Tracking Status
Once the configuration part is done from the admin panel, the admin will create a separate status for the different products and sellers.
- Open manage tracking status and all created statuses will display here.
- The admin can create a new status as per the store requirements.
- The admin can edit the order status in Magento 2 marketplace store.
- To create a new status admin needs to add the status name, code, status for the vendors, labels for customers, and status visibility for the customers.
- They can also create separate store view status.
- Create separate customer ends.
Admin-Vendor Communication
In the module, the seller can communicate with the admin, it is as essential as buyer-seller chats in Magento 2 marketplace.
- The seller can communicate with the admin from the seller panel.
- The vendor can initiate a chat for any specific order.
- The admin can check the seller message for any particular order in the order section.
- Once the admin replies to the chat, it will reflect on the seller’s end.
- With the help of this feature, admin and sellers can interact for any individual order.
Tracking Status Management - Seller End
The vendor can also check the order tracking status on their panel.
- The vendor can check the order status in the order history in Magento 2.
- If the admin didn't allow permission to the seller then they won’t be able to see the status.
- The vendor can check the different created status in product status tracking guidelines.
- Also, they can check the status of any individual product.
