The admin will manage the Sage Pay payment gateway module configurations by providing the basic details.

• First, the admin will enter the title of the payment gateway that will be visible to the customer in the frontend.
• The admin can use the payment method in the sandbox and production mode.
• Test credentials will be used when the sandbox mode is enabled.
• The credentials include the vendor name, key, and password.
• The integration type will be selected as direct.
• Admin can also enable the 3D Secure in multiple provided ways.
• Also, the cards that are allowed for customers can be selected by the admin.

The customer is provided with an extra level of security using the 3D secure.

• The 3D Secure authentication will be processed after the customer checkout process.
• Once the payment is completed, the customer will be redirected to process the 3D authentication.
• The authentication form includes the vendor, purchase amount, date, and Pan.
• The customer needs to enter the password and submit the form to complete the checkout if the 3D secure is enabled.
• In case if the 3D secure is disabled, no redirection will take place and checkout happens directly.

The module provides the 3D Secure checkout, so as to reduce the chances of fraud and data theft.

• The admin can enable or disable the authentication as per the requirement.
• If Use default MySagePay is selected, then the functionalities will be performed as per the selected credentials.
• If Apply authentication even if turned off is selected, then the authentication will be performed surely.
• By choosing Disable authentication and rules option the authentication will be disabled.
• If Apply authentication but ignore rules is selected then the authentication will be applied without applying the rules.

The module provides two types of payment actions that are mentioned below.

• The admin can select the payment actions to Authorize only and Authorize and Capture.
• When Authorize Only is selected, the admin needs to generate the invoice and capture the payment manually.
• When Authorize and Capture are selected as payment action, the payment will be captured automatically.
• The admin can choose among them to proceed with the functioning of the payments.

Finally, once the configurations are completed the customer can now proceed with checkout using the sage pay method.

• The customers can simply proceed with checkout after adding the products to the cart.
• After adding the shipping details, the customer will proceed with the payment.
• There the customer will select the sage pay method, and enter the card details.
• Details will include the card number, expiration date, and card verification number.

The admin can also check the 3D secure status for the orders under the transaction.

• For the status, the admin will check the transaction details.
• The transaction can be checked under the order details.
• The status depends on the type of card used by the customer.
• The status available is Authenticated, CardNotEnrolled, IssuerNotEnrolled, and Error.
