Odoo Category Custom Options: Now, offering varieties in the bulk product is no more a big issue; as you simply need to create customized options for which you don't even need to manage the inventory.
Simply, create an internal category and add products to it. And, add custom options to the category. This saves your efforts from creating custom options individually for a product.
An example for a better understanding of Odoo Category Custom Options
Suppose, you own a Desktop Store and you don’t want to manage the inventory of all the custom options. Now, you can create custom options for the categories of the Desktop. Options like:
RAM with it’s values: 4 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB...
SSD Disk with its values: 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB…
Operating System: Window, MAC, Linux...
These are some custom options which are found in the Desktops of each brand. You can create different Brand Names as Categories and custom options as RAM, SSD Disk, Operating System, etc. Odoo Category Custom Options also facilitates you to add the price to each attribute value.
It will enable all the attribute values to all the categories which are configured without even managing inventory.
Please Note: The module is dependent upon the Odoo Product Custom Options Module. The latter needs to be installed first for Odoo Category Custom Options To work properly.
