Module configuration
After the successful installation of the module, the admin will have to fill in the following details:
- Merchant ID
- Merchant Key
- Website
- Industry Type
- Gateway Mode
- Environment
Merchant Id, merchant key, and website details are available to admin after creating an account on Paytm for business. Admin will have the option to choose the payment mode of the module i.e., “Test” or “Live”. These options are available on “Environment”. If he/she selected the option staging then it is test mode whereas production is the live mode.
Secure PayTm Payments
Once the module is configured successfully, customers can view the Paytm payment gateway to make the payment for their bookings. If the admin has selected JS checkout as Gateway mode then the customers can make payments at the check-out page of the hotel's website. But if the admin has selected Custom checkout as Gateway mode then the customers are redirected to the Paytm page to make payments.
Managing transactions and refunds
- With ease, admin can manage transactions And refunds.
- The list of Paytm Payment Gateway transactions can be viewed by the admin.
- Admin has complete control over the bookings refunds.
- Admin can refund the bookings either partially or fully.
