Marketplace Multi Currency: WordPress WooCommerce Marketplace Multi Currency plugin allows your store to display prices and accept payments in multiple currencies. This plugin enables the admin to configure multiple currencies to the store as per the choice. Such currencies will then appear at the frontend for the customers. This will grant your customers the facility of shopping in their favorite currency.
The admin can set the base currency of the store and accordingly can configure the exchange rate for each currency. The admin and the seller can also set the exchange rate equivalent to the base currency for each product for the different currencies manually.
Please Note: Marketplace Multi Currency is an add-on of Webkul WordPress WooCommerce Multi-Vendor Marketplace. To use Marketplace Multi Currency you have to install WordPress Woocommerce Multi-Vendor Marketplace first.

Marketplace Multi-Currency
This plugin enables the admin to configure multiple currencies to the store as per the choice. It helps to easily convert users of a region into the customers by showing product prices in a currency they are familiar with. A drop-down list of all the currencies is provided in the plugin to let the admin to add any currency. The admin can:
- Remove the configured currencies.
- Set the currency widget position on the front end.
- Set the exchange rate equivalent to the base currency for each configured currency.
The configured currencies and their exchange rate settings will be applicable to all the store products automatically. All the configured currencies will be visible on the frontend for the customers.
Define Base Currency
- The admin can also set the base currency of the store as per the choice.
- A drop-down list of all the currencies is provided in the plugin to let the admin add any base currency.
- And accordingly, the admin will change the exchange rates for different currencies based on the new base currency.
- The admin can only change the base currency, he can’t remove it.
- The exchange rate calculation for different currencies will be based on the base currency for weight 1 always.
Per Product Exchange Rate:
- The admin can set the per product exchange rate equivalent to the base currency of all the store products.
- The admin can also update the exchange rate of all the sellers’ products.
- The sellers can set the exchange rate equivalent to the base currency for their product only.
- Both can update the exchange rates for the products from “Product Edit Page” only from their respective accounts.
Currency Update Notification
- This plugin also has email notifications feature.
- An email will be sent to the seller if the admin updates the currency exchange rate of the sellers’ products.
- An email will be sent to the admin if the sellers update the currency exchange rate of their products.
- The email contains the product name and product id of the product whose currency exchange rate has been modified.
Global Expansion with Multi-Currency
The store website displays the prices in the default currency configured by the admin. Currencies will appear in a list, displayed at the frontend for the users. The users can select in which currency they would like to see the prices from the available drop-down list, as well as complete transactions in such currency. At the frontend, the multi-currency widget will work on:
- Product catalog page
- Product page
- Cart page
- Checkout page
