Multi Vendor Attribute Set Mapping for Magento 2

The admin has a lot of options to manage the Marketplace Attribute Mapping.

• The admin can manage the category setting easily and decide the functionality of the module.
• The admin can decide whether to display the parent category of the selected category when selecting the category to add a new product by the seller.
• The admin can select the default attribute Set ID and it will be used whenever no attribute mapping will exist for a category.

The seller can create products with attributes mapped with the selected category like-

• The attribute set will get assigned automatically as per the selected category.
• The enabled attributes will get displayed on the “Product Edit” page along with the default attributes.
• This lets sellers create products with additional and unique attributes.
• The module supports Simple, Configurable, Virtual, Downloadable, Bundle and Grouped product types.

The module supports the following input types for custom attributes-

• Text Field: This input type is used to enter a single editable line of text.
• Text Area: This input type is used for a multi-line area for displaying text.
• Date: This enables the user to enter a date either using a text box or using a date picker interface.
• Yes/No: This will allow the yes/no input selection type.
• Multiple Select: This input type is used to select more than one option in the list.
• Drop-Down: This input type is used to select only one option in the list.
• Price: This input type is used to create additional price fields.

The admin can create and manage the existing mapping for their store. To create a new mapping or manage the existing one, the admin

• Can Add a New Mapping based on the Attribute Set, and the Store Category.
• Furthermore, the admin can select the attributes which the admin wants to enable for the sellers.
• Mapping ensures that the products get assigned to the attribute set automatically.
• Map multiple categories to a single attribute set i.e many to one type mapping.

Mapping store categories with the attributes, help the sellers to create and assign the created products to the available category with the available attributes.

• This helps the sellers to save their time from manually creating the product attributes.
• Product attributes are displayed to the customers at the front-end.
• It helps the customers to know more information about the products.
• Customers tend to purchase those products, that have more information about the product.
