Fast search quick navigation with Odoo Backend Elasticsearch!
Elasticsearch is one of the largest full-text search and analytics engines used by web juggernauts to provide real-time search results on their site. It can search the indexes and provide results based on simple or query-related results more accurately and faster than the PostgreSQL database based on the index.
Odoo Backend Elasticsearch makes your Odoo backend efficient and smart. It can scan through your backend to return you with accurate results in a fraction of the time. The Odoo app allows you to map the Postgres database server with the Elasticsearch server and provides your search wizard.
You can enable auto-completion, suggestions, recent searches, and trending searches in the search popup. Specify the fields to import from the Odoo server to the Elasticsearch server. You can also retrieve product mapping history for debugging purposes.
The auto-completion feature as the query is being entered. The search engine matches the syllables to the words in the index to provide suggestions. The Odoo admin can also map the most trending searches with the search results from the backend to show on hover-over the box while typing the search query.
