Opencart Store Locator - A quick way for giving an effortless searching experience for the customers to locate the stores on Google Maps. The stores in any number can be added by the admin panel from the back end, which will help the customers to find the stores based on Product search or Location search for the best accurate results. The Google Map integration will help to locate various stores available for the selected product based on ajax search to find the nearest location, which helps to increase the user interface to make the search more responsive and easy.

Why do we need an Opencart store locator?
If a customer wants to know the store location of a store then it would be a difficult part for the admin. To solve this purpose admin can use the store locator module on their store. So the customer can find the specific store with specific products.
Like if a store has product A and a store has product B then a customer can search by product and their store’s location on the map. The admin can enter the location with map and GPS coordinates. Opencart store locator solves the problem and provides the store address and location.
Admin management
Adding New Locations & Assigning products to store.
For each store location, type a location hint to get the map, and latitudinal and longitudinal details will be populated automatically. Following fields needs to be managed-
- Title for the Store.
- Store address and logo of the seller.
- URL for the store.
- Assigning selected or all products to the store.
- Entering distance to search results from user location.
Google GeoLocation
The feature helps to locate the store automatically within the set distance limit in system configuration settings in the back end.
- The store list will show the distance of the respective store from the searched keyword/location, with all the store details.
- The search can be made with 2 ways- either through Product search mode or Location search mode.
