Types of Commission Conditions
Set commission on the basis of
Products:
- This includes all products, specific products, or products categories, specific product categories
Total Cart amount:
- For this, the Commission will be calculated on the basis of the total value of the POS cart.
- Set commission on price-range.
- For example; for a cart value of $0-$100, the POS user will earn 05cents. Then, for $100-350 commission is $1 and so on.
Different Types Of Discounts
Fixed commission amount:
- Set a fixed commission amount to be earned by the POS user irrespective of Sale or products.
Percentage based:
- the percent is calculated on whether the commission is set on of product price or percentage of the cart value
Create Multiple configurations
- Use a global configuration that is the same for every user and Shop.
- Or, Create multiple configurations in Odoo consisting of POS commission rules.
- Every POS Shop can have its own commission rules.
- Set different rules for each POS users.
- Each configuration is independent of others. However, only one configuration can be set to active in the POS.
Set scheduler to auto-enable/disable commissions
- Use the timer in configuration to set the time period during which the POS users can earn a commission.
- The set time interval automatically enables/disables the POS user commissions in the Shop.
- Use the timer to set commissions during sale holidays and etc.
