Description
Magento Marketplace Seller Groups : Magento Marketplace Vendor Groups allows admin to categories seller into Gold, Platinum, Silver and many more groups. These Groups will restrict seller to upload a certain amount of product to his account, e.g. it will limit the number of product upload. Admin can restrict seller/vendors based on product quantity & time.
This module is an add-on of Marketplace Module.To use this module you must have installed first webkul Marketplace Module.
Note: For the proper functioning and working of this module the admin will have to log in to his PayPal account with his PayPal details and go to the IPN section and enter the Notification URL. For this, after login admin will navigate to the Profile menu item and under it will click the “Instant Payment Notification” option.
Magento Marketplace Seller Groups Features -

Admin Management
Sometimes, the store owner(admin) wants to put the sellers of the marketplace into few groups and set rules for those particular groups. The admin can charge fee from the seller to be included in any particular group.
Admin can set a “Fixed number” for uploading products. By this, seller can only upload fixed number of product set by the admin. Now the admin can create as many seller group from the back-end under “manage seller/partner group” tab.
Admin can set the “group name”, “group code”, “number of products allowed”, “time duration”, “amount for registering into that group” and then admin can enable that groups and it will display on the front-end.
Seller Management
Using Magento Marketplace Seller Group module, seller can add the default number of products from the front-end. When that limit is crossed then a message comes stating that the seller had exceeded the default set number for adding products.
The seller can be assigned to any group. By going to “pay group fee”tab seller can select the “Group Type” which includes amount and number of allowed products to upload.
The seller cannot upload product in one more case i.e. when time expire for a seller group that is set for assigned group.
Recurring Payment
With this Magento Marketplace Seller Groups, Recurring payment is available for seller’s payment. After the installation of this module, admin will do the payment setting associated with the Partner’s group in System- Configuration. Admin will provide payment information like Merchant Id, PayPal API Username, PayPal API password and PayPal API signature. Here recurring payment will be done by PayPal Express Checkout gateway. Seller after selecting the “Group Type” will do the payment. While doing payment, the seller is redirected to their PayPal Account. After making the payment, seller can view the recurring payment details like the image below.
