Verification and OTP Configuration

The Verification and OTP Configuration module allows administrators to define how users verify their identity during key actions. Admins can choose verification methods such as email, mobile, or no verification.

The OTP (One-Time Password) system supports configurable OTP lengths. Admins can also customize the message content sent with the OTP, control the number of allowed verification attempts, and define the duration before the “Resend OTP” button appears, measured in minutes. These settings ensure a flexible and secure user authentication process tailored to platform needs.

Mobile Verification Configuration

The Mobile Verification module allows administrators to enable or disable OTP-based verification. When enabled, OTPs are sent to users' mobile numbers to confirm their identity, adding an extra layer of security.

To integrate SMS functionality, the system supports Twilio as the messaging service provider. Admins must configure Twilio authentication details, including the Twilio Account SID, Twilio Account Token, and a valid Twilio Phone Number. These credentials are used to authenticate and send messages through Twilio's API.

Email Verification Configuration

The Email Verification module allows administrators to secure user accounts through two types of verification methods: OTP or by activation link.

When the activation link method is selected, admins can define the link’s expiration time in minutes. Setting this value to 0 ensures the link never expires. Additionally, the system provides an option to make email verification mandatory for login.
