Module Configuration
Payment Mode: Select the test mode or live mode. Select test mode to test the system and live mode for real transactions.
The card allowed for payment: Choose the card type which you will allow for payment.
Google pay merchant name: Enter the name of the merchant whose name you entered for setting up a profile in Google Pay.
Google pay merchant ID: When you (merchant) set up a payments profile, Google assigns you a unique numeric code. Fill it here.
Payment Gateway: Choose the payment gateway from the dropdown.
Payment Gateway Key/Id: Enter the key/id generated after setting up the profile.
Card Authentication
There are two types of card authentication:
- PAN Only
- 3D Secure
PAN Only-:This authentication method is associated with payment cards stored on file with the user’s Google Account. Returned payment data includes personal account number (PAN) with the expiration month and the expiration year
3D Secure-:This authentication method uses a type of messaging protocol that enables a cardholder to authenticate themselves with the card issuer during an online purchase. Its safety is ensured by facilitating the exchange of cardholder data between a merchant, card issuer and payment system only.
Module Workflow
After the integration of the module, guests can view it on the checkout page of the QloApps website. Along with other payment options, guests can also view the Google Pay payment gateway on the website as a payment option. After clicking on it, guests can complete their payments on the QloApps checkout page rather than having to navigate to another page. The client may see all of the cards stored in their Google account and pay with any of them.
