PrestaShop WhatsApp Business Order Notifications - Besides one to one communication channel, Whatsapp brings the astounding opportunity for the admin to attract with their customers. You can send different store request Notifications (Order Confirmation, Order Status Update and Order Tracking Number) straightforwardly on your customer’s WhatsApp number.
Note: The module is multi-shop compatible.
PrestaShop WhatsApp Business Order Notifications Features -
- Notify customers about their order confirmation, order status, order’s tracking number directly on WhatsApp.
- Select the order status to which the notification will be sent to the customers.
- Create message templates for each event (order confirm, order status update, cart abandoned, tracking number added to order and OTP) separately.
- Allow customers to add a WhatsApp number during registration to receive notifications.
- Verify the WhatsApp number during customer registration.
- Create campaigns for marketing purposes and send them to your customers on WhatsApp.
- Add category link to campaign.
- Delete the campaign from Meta on deleting from module’s end.
- View the list of customers who registered to receive the WhatsApp notification.
- Add interactive and more appealing buttons to your campaign messages. These buttons can be of 2 types: – CTA
- Automate responses to customer queries.

Whatsapp Message/Notification Templates-
Through this module you can send to your customers a notifications on whatsapp regarding:
- 1. Order Confirmation
- 2. Order Status Update
- 3. Order Tracking Number
- 4. Cart Abandoned
You get to configure the templates for all 3 notification types.
Automate Response-
You can automate responses to your customer queries. For this you will need to configure Webhook settings as the automatic response is replied via Webhook.
Example: Customer sends you any random message on Whatsapp. Say “Hi”. Now, after receiving “Hi” from customer, an automatic response will be generated and sent to the customer.
Manage Campaigns-
This module allows you to create campaigns for marketing purpose and also gives you the feature to send those campaigns to customers on their Whatsapp.
Many options are given in the module to configure the campaign look/layout. You can include interactive and more appealing buttons to your campaign messages. These buttons can be of 2 types:
1) CTA (Call To Action):
a) Call
b) Visit Website
2) Quick reply
Message Statistics-
WhatsApp for Business Order Notifications allows you to access the message statistics like how many of your messages were sent, and delivered. You can filter the data by Half hour, Day or Month.
Steps to access statistics: PrestaShop back office> Message Notifications > Message Statistics.
Customer Area-
Customers can opt to receive messages/notifications on Whatsapp. On providing the whatsapp number, an OTP will be sent to customer for WhatsApp number verification.
WhatsApp Number Verification During Customer Registration
Allows the admin to control whether customers can enter and verify their WhatsApp number during the registration process. When enabled, customers can add and verify their WhatsApp number to receive order updates and important notifications directly on WhatsApp. The admin can easily manage this setting, ensuring that WhatsApp numbers are collected and verified only when needed.
