Magento 2 AI Image Search Configuration
After installing the Magento 2 AI Image Search module, the admin needs to configure the basic settings such as enabling the feature, selecting the AI model, and managing embedding generation.
- The admin can enable or disable the AI Image Search module.
- Two AI model options are available: Preconfigured Model and MobileNetV3.
- The admin can run the Embedding Profiler for all products or generate pending embeddings when product images are updated.
- The AI Model Dimension updates automatically based on the selected model.
- The admin can set the Number of Results to display on the frontend.
- The Minimum Image Score can be configured to control match accuracy.
- Advanced options like HNSW Index M Value and HNSW Index EF Construction Quality can be adjusted.
- The admin can delete the vector storage image index when required.
Workflow of AI Pattern Search
Now, customers can visit your store and search for a particular product by just using an image and the exact or related products will be displayed depending upon the availability.
So, at the storefront, the user will-
- Click the camera icon to upload an image.
- Make changes(crop) to the image while uploading.
- Click on the save changes.
- Respective results are displayed to the customer.
- Customers can also search by the advance search option available in the footer.
AI Image Search Result
After uploading the image, the results will be shown on the screen.
- The result will be either relevant products or accurate products.
- The products will be displayed according to the AI Image Search Setting.
- No. of products will be displayed as per the setting of the number of results by the admin.
- If the accurate product is displayed, then the Minimum Image Score should be greater than 0 in the backend
