Airwallex Payments Pro is a PrestaShop payment module that connects your store directly to the Airwallex global payment platform. It adds Airwallex as a payment option at checkout and supports both one-time purchases and recurring subscription products. The module offers a choice between a hosted checkout — where customers are redirected to Airwallex's secure payment page — and an embedded checkout that collects card details inline on your store.
Store owners configure the module by selecting their environment (Sandbox or Production), entering their Airwallex Client ID and API key, and providing their billing legal entity ID and linked payment account ID for hosted checkout and subscription support.

Airwallex Subscription Plans

Assign subscription plans to specific products or product combinations. Customers see a clear one-time purchase versus subscribe choice on product and cart pages when a plan is assigned.
Full and Partial Refunds
Issue full or partial refunds directly from the transaction view. Partial refunds let the merchant specify any amount within the total captured.
Airwallex Payments Transactions
The Transactions panel lists every payment processed through Airwallex. Each transaction displays its intent ID, checkout ID, subscription association, status, order amount, refunded amount, linked order, and creation date. Admins can view transaction details, and issue refunds.
- View transaction details: intent ID, checkout ID, payment ID, status, amounts, and timestamps.
- Issue full refund: refund the entire captured amount in one click.
- Issue partial refund: specify any amount within the captured total.
Airwallex Payments Subscription Plans
Subscription plans define recurring billing rules. Each plan has a name, a billing frequency (day, week, month, or year), an interval count, and a number of occurrences. Plans can be toggled active or inactive and are scoped per shop for multi-store compatibility.
- Create subscription plans with configurable frequency and cycle count.
- Set plan status to active or inactive to control availability.
- Plans can be deleted only when not in use by products or subscriptions.
- Bulk actions for enabling, disabling, and deleting plans.
Airwallex Payments Checkout Experience
At checkout, customers see 'Pay by Airwallex payment' as a selectable payment option. Depending on the configured mode, they either complete payment on Airwallex's hosted page or enter card details on PrestaShop store.
