Shopify Product Label - Shopify Product Label is a tool to enhance the visibility of any product which has something new to communicate about itself in the store. With the help of this app, the admin can assign labels to the products on various pages. Admin can even add new labels of one’s own choice and can assign them to different products.
You can provide offers to your customers & make sure your customers are well known about the offers going on in your store. For this, you can simply use the Product Label app for Shopify which will let you display labels on your store’s home, product & collection page regarding the offers/deals going on your store.
For Example labels for new edition, sale, discount, etc which helps in grabbing the attention of the buyers & increasing the sales.

Functionality -
Admin can choose to add a new label to any product or can select from the default labels, and then comes the configuration of the label. Following settings can be configured by admin :
- General Setting: In General Settings, Admin needs to enter the Domain Name of his Shopify Store
- Product page Setting: Admin sets the positioning of label on Product description page here by entering the configuration values on top, Left, Right & Bottom.
- Collection Page Setting: Admin sets the positioning of the label on the Collection page here by entering the configuration values on top, Left, Right & Bottom.
- Home Page Setting: From home page settings, configure the position of the label for the home page
Label Rules:
There are three basic rules need to be remembered and selected for the labels. There are few by default labels created, and the rules are made about their implications. They are :
- Automatically assign a New label to all new products.
- Automatically assign Out of Stock label to all Out of Stock products.
- Also, automatically assign a Discount label to all products which have discounts.
As you can assign multiple labels to a single product, there are priorities of the label to be displayed on the frontend (most to least):
1. Label assigned to the product
2. Out of Stock Auto label
3. Discount Auto label
4. New Auto label
5. Label assigned to the collection
