Prestashop DHL Shipping with Label Print - DHL is a big name in the logistics industry worldwide.
DHL method is available for both the domestic as well as international customers. It calculates the shipping rates based on DHL API on the basis of the configuration set by admin taking into consideration the mentioned product dimension and weight.
Admin will have an option to decide whether single or multiple package will be created for an order. This module will not only help admin to generate shipping labels but also helps to track the order. Admin can now also request for a pick-up !.
Prestashop DHL Shipping with Label Print Features -

Important Note -
DHL Shipping module is completely based on the MyDHL API (DHL Express). This module works as a rate calculator. It displays shipping rates directly fetched from DHL Express services based on admin’s shipping origin address & customer’s delivery address, while taking product dimensions & weight into consideration.
The module uses DHL Express APIs for the following services:
- Rating
- Product
- Shipment
- Pickup (Request & Cancel)
Please note:
- The availability of a particular shipping service/method completely depends on the response received from DHL Express APIs.
- DHL API credentials are different from regular DHL account credentials. You need to contact DHL support to obtain the MyDHL API credentials required for the module configuration.
- Please contact DHL support to enable the above-mentioned DHL Express API services on your account before using the module functionalities properly.
DHL for Prestashop – Admin Configuration
User receives DHL API key and seecret on completing registration on dhl.com.
This information has to be entered in the configuration of the module by the admin.
- Admin enters Shippers Account Number, Orgin Country, Origin Zipcode, Shippers city name, Shipper Contact number.
- Admin also enters the default Packaging Parameters.
Single/ Multiple Package Management
Admin can decide whether a Single or Multiple package will be created for the order.
- Sellers have the authority to choose whether products in a single order will go in Single Package OR Multiple Package
- If Multiple Package is chosen, Admin can select which product (in what quantity) shall be sent in the package.
- Admin can add custom label text to be displayed on the shipping label.
Label Generation and Tracking Functionality
Once the labels for the packages have been generated, admin download the shipping label and also Track the order Package wise.
From the Order Details Page Admin can easily -

DHL Pick-Up Functionality
Admin also has a feature to request a pick up. From Admin Order detail page itself, a pick up request can be generated.
DHL Pick Up Request form has three parts :
- Requestor Details – Here Admin needs to fill in the details of the Person who is requesting the pick up from DHL.
- Place Information - Here Admin will enter the place details from where pick up has to be taken by DHL.
- Pick Up Time Information - Here Admin will enter the desired Pick up date and Time
Once a pick up request in generated, Admin can modify or cancel it according to his desires.
