Description
Odoo POS Order Sync is an Odoo module that links multiple live POS sessions. A POS user creates a quotation in one session and sends it to another for payment.
Senders build the cart and click the Send button at the top. Odoo lists all available POS sessions, and the sender picks the one that takes over the order.
Recipients click the cart icon to load that order. After serving the customer, the recipient validates it and closes the sale from that POS.
On the sender side, a clock icon opens the history of sent quotations. It names whom each order went to and its state, which moves from Draft to Done after validation.
Sessions marked as Bar/Restaurant also accept a floor and a table. An order sent that way reaches the right table at the receiving end.

Why Do We Need Odoo POS Order Sync?
Odoo POS sessions work on their own by default. An order started at one counter stays there, even when the terminal next to it sits free.
That costs the shop time. Customers are likely to abandon a queue after only two or three minutes. One stalled counter holds up the whole line.
Odoo POS Order Sync removes the wall between sessions. A cart built at a busy counter travels to another live session, and the customer pays there instead of waiting.
Inside the POS, a clock icon opens the status list and names the destination session. A cashier answers where an order went without leaving the screen.

Send a POS Quotation to Another Session
The Send button at the top of the POS screen hands the current cart to another live session. Users pick the target session from the list of running sessions.
Counters use this step when the queue grows and a second terminal is free to take the payment. Stores taking payment in more than one currency can pair it with Odoo POS Multi Currency.
- Add the products to the POS cart as usual before sending.
- Click the Send button at the top of the POS screen.
- Choose the destination POS session from the available sessions.
- Add internal notes to the order in the same window.
- Watch the sender cart empty once the order goes out.
Track Sent Quotation Status in POS
Within the POS, a clock icon opens the record of quotations this session has already sent. Each line names the session that received the order and its current state.
Senders watch the state change from Draft to Done as soon as the receiving user validates the order.
- Click the clock icon to open the sent order list.
- See which POS session each quotation was sent to.
- Read the current state of every sent quotation.
- Confirm a sale from the Done state without asking the other counter.
Receive and Validate the Synced Order
On the receiving side, a cart icon pulls in orders sent from other POS sessions. That order opens in the cart with the same products the sender added.

- Click the cart icon to load the incoming orders.
- Review the products that arrived from the other POS session.
- Serve the customer and validate the order from this POS.
- Create the sales order directly from the received quotation.
Send Orders to a Floor and Table
Sessions set as Bar/Restaurant can receive an order for a named table. Floors & Tables must be enabled, and the sender picks both while sending.
That order then shows on the cart icon and on the matching table. Staff load it into the cart and validate it.
- Enable Bar/Restaurant on the receiving POS session.
- Enable and select Floors & Tables for that session.
- Pick the floor and the table while sending the order.
- See the order appear on the corresponding table at the other end.
- Load it into the cart and validate it as needed.
Sender and Recipient Details in Backend
Odoo keeps every synced quotation in the backend under Orders. Opening it shows the items the order carried and the POS sessions on both sides.
Shops handling returns at the counter can add Odoo POS Order Return alongside it.
- Open the quotation from Orders in the Point of Sale application.
- Check the items the order contained.
- Read the sender and receiver in the Extra Info tab.
- Find the internal notes added at sending time in the Notes tab.
