Description
Akeneo UI Reference Entity: It provides the UI interface to create the entity and manage the entities' value with the UI. It helps to manage reference data and related views inside the Akeneo PIM. In this, you can create multiple reference entity and you can add this created entity in the Reference data simple select and Reference data multi-select attribute with this you can add the entity in the products.
For the Akeneo installation, your Akeneo server should meet these system requirements.
Please Note: Akeneo UI Reference entity is compatible with Community Edition, Enterprise Edition, and Cloud (PaaS/Flexibility) Edition of Akeneo.

Create Reference Entity
The admin can create a reference entity and can add multiple entities.
Reference Data Support
The created entity supports both Reference data Simple and Multiple select attributes.
Field Value
You can add multiple field values. There are 8 types of fields that are text, number, boolean, Json, date, image, simple select, and multi-select.
Filter Field Value
You can filter the field value by the code, short order and the created fields.
Entity Mapping
Entity mapping plays a crucial role as it allows you to do the following:
- You can create a reference entity data.
- You can add multiple entities.
- You can edit and delete the entity.
- You can add field values.
- You can add the created entity to the Akeneo attributes like:
- Reference data Multi-Select
- Reference data Simple select
General Properties
In this module, you can add multiple fields in an entity. You have to fill some fields details to add the value in the entity like:
- Field Name: In this, you have to fill the name of the field.
- Field Type: In this, you have to select the type of field. There are 8 types of field types that you can use that are text, number, date, Json, boolean, image, simple select, and multi-select.
- Field Length: In this, you can select the field length.
- Field Required: In this, you have to yes if the field is required or not if not then you can select number.
Add Field Value
In Akeneo UI Reference Entity you can create an entity in that entity you have to:
- Add fields and you can add multiple fields.
- Add field values and you can add multiple field values
- You have to fill code, short order, and created a field data.
- Code: In this, you can enter a unique value to the field
- Short order: In this, you can decide the entity field value sequence.
Field Value
In this module, the field value is the option in which you can add different values in the filed that was created by you while adding the field value you can do the following:
- You can search the value by code.
- You can filter by a short order.
- In this, you can add multiple field values.
- You can edit the field value to make changes in the field value.
- You can delete the entity field if not required.
