Odoo Order Signature Screen permits you to request customers to sign their sale or purchase order, delivery note, and invoices in Odoo. Once the customer signs the document, their signature is recorded in the Odoo backend for future reference. The customer has to draw their signature on the canvas pad visible on the screen.

  • Only those orders would appear on the Odoo screen whose order is created by the client set in the ‘Order Created By’ field.

  • The order signature module permits the clients to draw their signatures on the canvas space.
  • The Odoo admin can view the clients’ signatures on the sales and purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
  • The module also prints the signature automatically on the order receipt.

  • You can save the clients’ signatures in the Odoo backend.
  • You can use the saved signature in the future.

  • The Odoo admin can decide to show terms and conditions on the signature page and whether to request a client or not.
  • The client can view the terms and conditions if enabled from the Odoo backend.

Configuring the Order Signature Screen

  • The admin can create a screen for customers to sign the document.
  • Select the company for which you want to create the signature screen.
  • Enter the welcome HTML, website name, and HTML body.
  • Add a banner image to the signature screen to make it more lucrative.
  • You can choose where to allow the signature (delivery, sales order, invoice, and purchase order).
  • You can add terms and conditions on the signature page.
  • Also, you can make the terms and conditions required for clients to sign the document.

  • The customer can view the entered HTML title, website name, and body on the screen.
  • When the admin requests a signature, it will be displayed on the signature screen.
  • The client has to sign the document and submit it to Odoo.
  • If the admin has marked the terms and conditions as ‘Required,’ the customer can not proceed unless they tick the box next to terms and conditions.
  • The invoice, order, delivery, and purchase details appear on the signature screen for the customer to know the details.
  • Configure the module from various sections in Odoo.
  • The module will automatically create the customer screen URL (if you do not enter one).
