Post installation, the Redsys payment gateway becomes one of the available payment options for your guests to book rooms. When a customer chooses the QloApps Redsys payment gateway and proceeds with payment, they are redirected to the Redsys website to add their card details and finalize the transaction. After the transaction is complete, the customer is automatically redirected back to the QloApps’ order page.
Pre Authorization Mode
The admin can enable pre-authorization mode from the back office to hold guest's payment for a specific amount of time i.e without actually deducting the funds immediately. This held amount is simply reserved and not charged until the hotel decides to capture or release the payment. Once enabled, a new payment method gets available on the checkout page. The customer can choose this payment option and proceed with the booking.
