WooCommerce Multi Vendor Chat Plugin Configuration
After successful installation, the admin will configure settings for the chat extension. To configure, the admin will navigate to the configuration settings. Here the admin will have to -
- Enter the Host of the online store
- Enter any available Port number for use
- Click the start/stop button to enable/disable the chat system
- Select to enable https for your website.
- Enter the storefront name that is displayed on the chat window In case of enabling https upload the server private key, certificate key, and ca bundle file.
Customer End Features
This extension allows a whole conversation with the respective seller and admin of a product. The customer whenever reaches any product page will find the chat window for communication purposes.
- Direct chat with the seller and admin starts a conversation right from the product page.
- The customer can send a message when the seller and admin are online or not available for chat.
- A customer can see the seller’s and admin’s responses in the chat window.
- The customer can send the attachment to the seller and admin for better communication.
Seller End features
The sellers will be able to make a response to the customers for their queries regarding the seller’s products.
The Seller can navigate through My Account - Customer chat available to bring out the customer chat list. Here, the seller can
- Click on any buyer’s option to start a chat.
- Send or view the attachments for a better understanding.
- Change their status to online, busy, and away, and can edit their profile.
- Block the Customer to stop the conversation or chat with the Customer.
- View the chat history of the chat conversation by filtering them into the four options last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 30 Days, and Forever.
- View all users who have initiated a chat in the buyer's list.
Admin End Features
This extension enables the Admin to respond to seller and customer inquiries or can start a chat with any seller or customer.
This allows the admin to ensure customers get timely and efficient help directly from the admin. Here, the admin can -
- Start the chat with any seller or buyer.
- Send attachments or use smileys/emoticons for interactive chats.
- View the chat history/conversation between the seller and the customer.
- Change their status to online, busy, and away, and can edit their profile.
- Block the Customer to stop the conversation or chat with the customer.
