Description
Odoo POS Clock is a Point of Sale extension for Odoo. It adds a live running clock to the POS session screen for cashiers and customers.
Admins open Point of Sale Configuration and scroll to the Features section. There they set the Clock Type field for that POS.
Once saved, the clock appears in the POS session header beside the cashier name. It keeps running while that session stays open.
Setting the Clock Type field is the only step this module adds. No extra screen or separate configuration is needed.
This module supports Odoo versions 8 through 20. Stores on older and newer Point of Sale installs can add the same live clock.

Why Do We Need Odoo POS Clock?
Odoo's standard Point of Sale screen does not show the current time anywhere on the session header. Cashiers cannot check the time without leaving that screen.

This module puts a running clock on the POS session screen, beside the cashier name. The time stays visible for the whole session.

- Open Point of Sale, then Configuration, then Point of Sale, and select a POS record.
- Scroll to the Features section, next to Virtual Keyboard and Invoicing.
- Find the Clock Type field in that section.
- Save the configuration to apply the format to that POS.
- Repeat the setting separately for each Point of Sale configuration in the database.

Live Clock on the POS Session Screen
The session screen shows the configured clock in its top header, beside the logged-in cashier name. Every cashier sees the same live display.
It keeps running for the length of the session, through every order a cashier opens and closes. Nothing further needs to be configured for this to work.
