Magento News Ticker - Magento News Ticker is an awesome ticker Module which allows you to display your latest news title in different effect like fading more. News ticker provides a simple way to present news on your website, one at a time, rotated with a smooth fade-in JavaScript effect.
Since the growth in usage of the World Wide Web, news tickers have largely syndicated news posts from the websites of the broadcasting services which produce the broadcasts.
News ticker module includes the option of Magento website hosts being able to post their own headlines to the ticker. Adding & Managing News
After the installation of the module, admin can see the “News Ticker” option. Under this there are two sub options – Add News and Manage News Group. In “Add News”, admin add “News” or can edit the existing News. While adding any new “news”, admin will set the “Sort Order”, prepare the content and enable it.
Admin can perform bulk action like deleting or changing the status by selecting various News. Admin cal also download News on CSV file or on XML file.

Adding & Managing News Group
In the News group, admin can view the “Group Name”, “Group Code”, “Status”, “News”. There is an option for editing the existing News Group. Admin can also add new “News Group”. While adding new “News Group”, admin will set “Newsticker Group name”, “Newsticker Group Code”, “Text title, Width”, “Pause on Items, Fade in speed & Fade out speed”. Admin will also set “Speed” and at the end admin will select web pages on which admin wants to display News ticker.
Admin can perform bulk action like deleting or changing the status by selecting various News Groups . Admin cal also download News on CSV file or on XML file.

- Admin can add new news group.

- Admin can set speed, time of fade-in and fade-out.
- Admin can add or remove any “News” from the news group.
News Ticker Display
After setting and configuration, user or customer can see the News Ticker. User can pause the ticker or can fast-forward it as per their requirements. This is one of the best way to gain the attraction other customers towards the Magento website.
- User can view the news and pause the news ticker.
- User can use arrows to fast-forward the news.

Had a little issue with displaying the News Ticker on a Venus Jude template on Magento v1.9.1 and the developers helped solve the issue in one day, excellent stuff. Looks and works great :)

This ticker is recommended ticker and comes with some nice options.
The development company helped us customise so that it:
appeared at the top of page
Separate ticker for mobile and desktop.
Support was good (but I had to double check a lot as bugs were missed).
In the future would like to see some similar functions to Ditty ticker (a great wordpress ticker) integrated.

Very cool ticker and everything is configurable from module , i have a little problem with the styling but the support was SUPER!!! . They fixed the issue within five minutes
