Magento (OpenMage) Twilio SMS Notification

• This module is an absolute solution to keep your customers informed about their orders.
• The admin doesn’t need to notify the customers manually as the SMS notifications will automatically be sent to them.
• The module has flexible admin settings to completely disabled or enabled whenever required.
• Simply add your Account SID, Auth Token and Twilio Phone number received after registering at the Twilio website and you are all set to send Twilio SMS alerts to the customers.

The customers need to provide their phone number on which they will get the notifications like -

• When the customer creates a new account the telephone number entered at that time will be used to send in the notification messages.
• If a customer is already registered and tries to use a different address(shipping) at the time of checkout, then the telephone number that is entered(for this different address) will be used to send in the notification messages.
• It’s mandatory to add the country code before your phone number else the notifications won’t be sent.

The customer will be notified for the various statuses of their orders placed in Magento store such as -

• New order notification to the customer.
• Order cancel notification to the customer.
• Invoice notification to the customer.
• Shipment notification to the customer.
• Credit memo notification to the customer
• Order on Hold notification to the customer.
• Order Unholded notification to the customer.

The customers will get the short messages with a concise matter for the above-mentioned events on their registered phone numbers.
