Odoo Create Product From POS: Odoo POS by default only allows the products to be first created in the Odoo backend for them to show up in the POS. A new product cannot be created in the running POS session. And that’s what Odoo Create Product From POS module allows the POS user to do. You can create a new product directly in Odoo POS running session. The product can be created and added to the cart simultaneously to validate an order.
Moreover, a scanned barcode would show no results if it is not saved with a product in the Odoo. In such a case, you can create a product associated with the barcode directly from the POS session in both online and offline mode.

Create a new product directly in Odoo POS
- The POS user can Create a new product directly in Odoo POS running session.
- The newly created product can be simultaneously added to the Odoo POS cart and used in an order.
Create the product and link it with the barcode in POS Session
- A barcode which is not already saved in the Odoo can be scanned in the POS session and the associated product can be created in the POS.
- It works in both online and offline mode.
- However, the product will only be saved in the Odoo backend when the POS comes online.

- Enter the basic information and general information as shown.
- Fill in the product type, cost price, category, etc. as shown.
