Odoo GDPR - What is GDPR?
GDPR principles bring enhancements to the current Data Protection laws to ensure security and proper handling of consumer data by firms doing business in the EU. You would also need to make your business GDPR compliant.
JIn accordance with it, Odoo GDPR module lets your customers request access to their data stored in your database. They can request for their details stored in the system, and exercise the right to request partial/full deletion of their personal data from your website.
They can also send a request to download a copy of this data from their website account. They can download the data file from their account once the request is completed. The admin can easily handle all the requests from the back-end.

Enable customers to request access to their data in Odoo
- Odoo GDPR module lets your customers request access to their data stored in your database.
- It mainly gives access to your customer to manage his personal data. (Right to Access).
Manage customer’s data related requests in Odoo
- Customers can request for Removing his all/partial data. (Right to be Forgotten).
- Customers can request to download a copy of his data. (Data Portability).

- You can Enable/Disable or Edit GDPR Message to be displayed on your Website's Footer.
- The module automatically wipes(remove) all customer data from your database in One Go.

Manage the GDPR configuration from the Odoo backend
- Being the admin, you have yo enable the GDPR configuration from the backend.
- Click on the Odoo GDPR Configuration Tab and enable the access of the customers.
Set the Odoo GDPR Template from the backend
- As shown, you can set the Odoo GDPR Template from the backend.
- Enter the Name, Short Description, etc as shown to create a GDPR Template .
