Odoo POS Merge Category - It happens when a new product is added to your POS Store , its important to categorise it to avoid mismanagement. So, if you are a POS user, finding categorised products while placing an order is easy. Odoo POS Merge Category enables you to link all the products with their respective categories in ‘Point of Sale’.
So, if you have less number of products and also fewer product’s category, you can manually create those categories in POS and link all the products with those categories. However, if you have a large no. of products, this module makes your work easy by automatically merging categories.

Create Product categories in POS to categorise products
- Admin can create all Product's Categories (Internal Categories) as POS Categories in 'Point of Sale' with just 1 click.
- Admin can Link Products to respective POS Categories.

Merge the categories under configuration menu in POS
- On successful installation of the module you will find a new menu ‘Merge Categories’ available under the ‘Configuration’ menu in ‘Point of Sale’. Once you click this menu a wizard will open and will have two buttons.
