- Max. character limit for the short name of the app is 12.
- The PWA feature is now compatible with iOS. However, iOS doesn't supports push notifications in PWA in iOS.
- Connectivity status(i.e offline/online) of app is now displayed at the end of screen of mobile.
- Now, product URL is automatically attached with product push notification.
- Admin can send the push notifications in multi-language.
- Send Product notification for existing products in intervals.
An Important Note
- The PWA feature is now compatible with iOS. However, iOS doesn’t support push notifications in PWA in iOS.
- iOS does not support push notifications. Hence, iOS will also not support the custom notification prompt.
- The app icon displays on the splash screen on iOS mobile devices but the background colour & app name doesn’t display on the splash screen of iOS devices.
- iOS does not support the ‘Install App” functionality.
- The pop up will not appear on iOS devices. However, the user can use the more button (middle one at the bottom of safari browser) on iOS devices to use the “add to home screen” feature.

Will it adapt to my theme ?
Yes, PWA will adapt as per your theme. The theme must be responsive.
Can we define what appears on the Home page?
You cannot manage what data to show or what not to show. It will adapt to your theme.
Push notifications work on iOS ?
No, currently iOS does not support push notifications.
Will my modules also show on PWA ?
Yes, as all the modules and features which are on your website will show. However the website should be responsive.
Where will customers find the option to download the PWA ?
Customers will get an option on the website itself to "Add to home screen".
Can I send push notifications to iOS and android both ?
Push notifications will work on Android. Currently iOS does not support push notifications.
What types of push notifications can be sent ?
Admin can create five types of push notification: Manual Push Notification, Product Notification, Order Status Notification, Welcome Notification and Cart Reminder Notification.
Can PWA work in offline mode ?
PWA module can work in offline mode. However it does not mean that it will completely work without an internet connection. The offline mode only allows you to open the pages which have already been browsed and have been cached in your browser. The data will then show from there, in case of no active internet connection. Once the connection is available it will again use the internet only to browse the website.
