Prestashop Donate to Charity: E-commerce is an evolving domain & always presents the opportunity that helps to improve the brand image, sales or the user experience. This time, we thought of a module that helps to improve the brand image & also helps to fulfil the altruistic desires along with it. In this distressed world, many people belive that they bear some responsibility towards this society as a human. The definition of responsibility varies from person to person. For some, saving the environment is a responsibility & for other it might be to help people those are underprivileged than them. Now, you can do your part by pooling funds via contribution on your store for whatever might seem as a responsibility to you. Hence, to enable you with such tool to seek contributions for various purposes, we bring you Prestashop Donate to Charity module.

Prestashop Donate to Charity Features -
- Run various donation campaigns on store simultaneously.
- Advertise all the campaigns on various pages of the store.
- Choose to ask for a donation of a fixed amount.
- Set donation amount according to the will of customer.
- Global Advertisement banners & banners for individual donation campaigns are fully configurable.
- Enable/Disable the display of button on the global advertisement for redirecting to donation campaigns listings.
- Provide donation block on the cart page too.
Donate to Charity Online
You must have heard of this “Giving is the greatest act of grace”. Provide your customers a change to donate to the persons who are in need. With this module, admin can run various donation campaigns in one place so a potential donor does not have to hop around looking for individual charities.
Configure the look of Advertisement
You can simply modify the layout of the banner as per your needs.
- Enter the title of the advertisement.
- Set text color for the title.
- Enter the advertisement description.
- Set text color for description.
- Upload advertisement back ground image when banner location is on the header or footer.
- Upload advertisement back ground image when banner location is on the Left or Right.
- Diplay all donations category button on the banner.
- Set the text of this all donations category button.
- Set the text color of all donations category button.
- Set the border color of all donations category button.
- Choose location where you want to display this banner.
Create Donations Campaigns
- Enable if you want to show the donation on front-end.
- Enter the name of the Donation Campaign.
- Describe the purpose of donation campaign.
- Set price to either “Fixed Price” or “By Customer”.
- If selected “By Customer”, enter the minimum amount that customer must pay.
- Set the expiry date of donation.
- Enable/disable the display of product created for this donation.
- Enable/disable the display of donation option on cart page.
Note: 1. While creating any donation, if the price type is kept as fixed. In that case, a person donating for any cause needs to contribute the fixed amount set by admin.
2. Donation created from here are created as virtual product in catalog at the Prestashop back-office.
Customer End
The process to donate towards any cause will be similar to the process adopted for ordering any product.
- Simpily visit the product page of the donation campaign.
- Add to cart the donation product in order to make the payment.
- In case the Admin has set the payment type to “By customer”, then the customer will have to enter the amount he wish to pay for the campaign. But this, amount should be greater than the minimum amount set the admin.
Note: Specific price does not work with customer type (dynamic price) donation products.

I highly recommend this product and vendor
We were looking for a Prestashop plugin to allow our church store to take donations. After reviewing the various options, we selected this one. The plugin was easy to install and configure. And it works great with our Stripe payment system. We wanted a Comments box for donors to indicate the application of their donation. Upon making a request to the developer for customization, he graciously provided instructions on how to do it using the product customization feature already available in Prestashop. I highly recommend this Donations product and vendor.

Yes, the admin can display the banners for multiple charity campaigns simultaneously.
Can we set the minimum donation amount for the charity?
Yes, while creating the charity campaign the admin can allow the users to enter the custom donation amount by setting “price type as by customer” and also can set the minimum donation.
Does the charity amount directly credited to the account of the charity trust?
The charity amount directly goes to the account linked with the payment method a customer chooses to place the order.
How can we check the total donation received for a particular campaign?
The admin can find the donation-related data in the Stats tab.
