Prestashop Order Carrier Change: The module adds the functionality of changing the carrier associated with an order. The Admin can also update the price of the carrier & weight of the package. If any carrier is unable to deliver the order on time, the admin can assign another carrier to deliver the product on time.
Prestashop Order Carrier Change Features -
- Admin can change the shipping carrier of the order from the order details page.
- The Admin can update the shipping price of the carrier.
- An Admin can update the weight of the package.
- In unavailability of any shipping carrier, assign another carrier to deliver the order on time.
- Change the shipping carrier of the order from the order list.
- Choose to update the shipping price of the carrier from the order list.
- Also, update the weight of the package from the order list.
- Choose to update the tracking number of the order from the order list.
- View the shipping carrier change history under “shipping’ tab on the order details page.
- Notify your customers about the change in carrier via mail.
What this module does?
If you are looking for a solution in which you can change carrier that is assigned to any order then you are in the right place. We have developed a well-needed module in which admin can easily change the carrier after the order has been placed and can also set the price of the carrier and weight of the package.
How admin will change the carrier from back-office?
After successfully installation of module admin can see a new tab that is "Change Shipping" in each order detail page from where he/she can change the carrier of that particular order.
In order to change the Carrier of any order admin will have to navigate through Orders tab-->Select any particular order--> Select "Change Shipping" tab.
From "Change Shipping" tab admin can change the following things-
- Carrier.
- Price for the carrier.
- Weight of the package.
