Prestashop Advanced Restrict Payment Methods Pro - Online retailers provide various payment methods on their websites. Because when it comes to checkout, they want to make the process as convenient as possible.
If the customers can't find their preferred payment methods, they will probably abandon your store. However, all the payment methods have their pros & cons and may not be suitable for specific products, categories, days, etc.
For example, you want to disable the credit card payment for the products whose price is below $49. In default Prestashop, you cannot restrict payment options for specific products or cart values.
Prestashop Advanced Restrict Payment Methods Pro extension allows you to set payment restriction conditions based on products, cart range, zip codes, specific days & time, etc.
Set Restrictions on Products
With this extension, you can enable or disable specific payment methods for your Prestashop store products based on your needs. For example, you do not want to accept cash on delivery on products whose prices are below $59.
Just choose the products you want to hide payment options and select the payment methods to restrict the selected products. In this way, you can manage the appearance of some payment options when customers add those products to the cart.
Limit Payment Options Based On Cart Value
One of the key features of this extension is to restrict payment methods depending on the cart range. For example, you want to allow only prepaid options for the orders whose cart value lies in the range of $49 - $99.
You can set multiple cart ranges to restrict payment methods for. The payment methods are not shown on the checkout page if the cart value is lower or higher than the amount set in the range.
Payment Restriction by Zip Codes
Prestashop Advanced Restrict Payment Methods Pro is a great tool that facilitates you to restrict payment methods by zip codes. Say, restrict cash on delivery payment option for customers of the specific area in the United States. You can set multiple zip code ranges for which you want to restrict the specific payment options.
When a customer adds a product to the cart, the module checks the zip code. The payment methods are not displayed on the checkout page if the customer's zip code matches the zip code specified in the rule.
Show/Hide Payment Methods by Customer Groups
Prestashop Advanced Restrict Payment Methods Pro extension enables you to restrict payment methods based on customer groups. For example, you can allow the cash on delivery payment method to the members of the VIP customer group and, at the same time, disable it for guest users.
Also, you can set the cart range for which you want to restrict the payment methods. The members of the selected customer groups whose cart value lies in the specified range won't have access to the restricted payment methods.

No, thier is no such option available in the current version of this module.

Yes, an admin can add more that one cart range restriction rules to restrict different payment methods on different cart range rules.
Can admin upload the csv file to restrict the zipcode wise payment?
In this module admin can add multiple zip code ranges or multiple single zip codes to restrict the payment only, there is no option to upload csv file to restrict the payment method in this module.
