Prestashop Product Reservation : Prestashop Product Reservation enables customers to book products for the allowed time period. Reserved products will be on hold until the reservation period ends. Customers can order their reserved products anytime in between the reservation period.
Prestashop Product Reservation Features -
- Enable reservation of a product.
- Set time period of reservation.
- Show reservation button on product page & cart page.
- Update cart if the product was reserved from cart.
- View a list of products reserved by customers in a separate “Reserved Products” tab.
- Option to reserve a product on behalf of the customer.
Note: Admin can reserve any product for the customer even if the product is not available for the reservation.

Product Reservation module adds an alternative to Prestashop products so as to save/reserve them. It adds a button “Reserve Product” to the product page from where the customer can add the product in his/her “My Reserved Products” list.
Customers’ from the product page itself can set the quanties of a product they need to reserve.
Assume, customer has added one product to cart and after couple of moments he decide to buy that products later after some time. At this point, the job of this module becomes an integral factor. This plugin will help the customer to reserve that product from the Shopping cart page itself which means he will not have to come back to the product page in order to reserve that product, thus save customers’ efforts and time.
The functionalities that this module offer:
- Set Timeline up to which the product will be reserved.
- Set the maximum quantity of product that can be reserved by a customer.
- Display or not the Reserve button on Product page.
- Display or not the Reserve button on Cart page.

- Can view all the reserved products in one place.
- Directly add to cart the product from the My Reserved List page.
- Product is locked specifically for customers till the end of reservation period.

Can I manually create an order via the back office for someone in particular with products reserved for him for a certain time?
From the Back office> Reserved Product Tab, the admin can reserve the product for a customer.
Where a customer can find the reserved product?
The customer can find the reserved product from My account section< My Reserved Product Tab.
If any customer failed to purcase the reserved quantity of a product will I have to add it back manually?
No, as per the standard flow of the module, if any customer failed to purchase the reserved quantity then it will automatically add back in the product stock, their is no need to add back the product quantity manually.
Does this work on product with combinations also?
Yes, the module works with standard, virtual and product with combinations also.
If I add a new product after installing this module, will the reservation button display at the front end or I have to enable it manually?
The reservation button will automatically displayed at the front end if admin add the new products and amin also can disable the reservation button from any product.
What is the maximum time for which a customer can reserve any product?
The admin can set the default time in days/hours/minutes while configuring the module and also admin can set the specific reservation time on specific product.
