Prestashop Virtual Product Combination : Prestashop virtual product combination module provides additional functionality of adding combinations to the virtual product. Now different files for different combinations can be added with the help of this module.
Also, this module is Multishop compatible
Prestashop Virtual Product Combination Features -
- Admin can add combinations to the virtual products.
- Admin can associate different files with different combinations.
- Admin can restrict the number of downloads for file associated with combination.
- Admin can also set expiry date for file associated with the combination after which customer will not be able to download the file even after ordering it.
- Set the number of days for which customers can access the file.
- Admin can associate files of different types like zip file, text file, music files etc.
- Add and manage virtual product combinations files from a single place.
How this module helpful to you?
With a regular installation of Prestashop, shop owners are not allowed to add combinations on the virtual products.
Now the question arises, what if someone wants to sell multiple versions of a software, e-book, or mp3? He/she will then have to create separate products for the same virtual product.
Don’t you think creating a separate product page for each, will lead you into trouble with duplicate content, which will cause Google to ban you and thus resulting in drastic sales decrease.
Allow combinations for virtual products
Currently in Prestashop if you select the virtual product option, the option to add combination get disappear.
So, this module allows store owners to generate combinations for their PrestaShop virtual products and keeps them for editing, just like in normal products case.
Multiple file uploads - one for each combination
It allows you to upload a separate attachment for each combination, so the customer will actually download what he has bought.
The option to download the file will only be available once the status of the order is Payment Accepted.
By downloading the file the customer can obtain a full range of information on the product they have bought.
Customer Interface
Customer can see the list of combinations linked with the product on the product page. He can then choose the one he desire to buy and can proceed ahead.
The combination which the customer has selected will also be shown in the cart page and in the order confirmation page.
