Magento 2 Quote System lets customers request custom prices instead of fixed prices. It is ideal for B2B stores serving wholesalers, retailers, and bulk buyers who need flexible pricing.
Customers can add products to a separate quote cart, set quantity and price, add notes, and attach files. They can submit multi-item requests and get a quote number for easy tracking.
Admins can review, edit, approve, or decline quotes also they can set prices and quantities for each item and negotiate through a built-in chat. Email alerts are sent for every new message.
The system supports seven quote statuses, auto-approval, expiry reminders, and one-click order conversion. Guests can request quotes with optional OTP verification. It also supports all major product types, Hyvä Themes, and GraphQL.

Add Quote Feature
This module will allow your customers to quote for the products in your Magento2 store. For this, the admin can:
- Enable or disable this module as per the requirement.
- Allow or block discounts on quote products in the cart.
- Enable the quote status per product from the product edit page.
- Quotes only appear for products where this is enabled.
- Set minimum quantity and minimum amount for quote requests.
- This stops buyers from requesting quotes below your configured limits.
- Choose which customer groups can send quote requests.

Request for Quotes
Quote requests work across the storefront for quotable products.

Add Quote Details
A pop-up appears when the customer clicks the quote button. The user provides:
- Quantity: enter the product quantity the customer wants to quote for.

- Description: add a message or quote details for the admin.
Customer Handling Quote Requests
Under a separate section the customer can view the product list for which they have added the quote and can:
- View quote details and status of the quotation like pending, declined etc.
- Even update/edit their quotation requests.
- Also, delete their existing quotation requests if want to.
- View the complete conversation history which they had with the admin.
- Add multiple image/file attachments to the quote request which will be visible to the admin.

Where is the option for the customers to communicate with admin?
Customers click My Quotes, open a quote, and use the Conversation tab to send messages. Admins reply from the same thread in the backend.
Is it possible for the admin to show only Quote this Product button to the customer?
Yes, The admin can show or hide Add to Cart and product price independently. This lets the store show only the Quote button for specific products.
Can the admin also send the attachment to the quote request?
Yes, Admins open any quote, edit it, and upload files from the attachment section. Customers see these files in their quote view.
What is the procedure for adding a quoted product to the cart?
After admin approval, customers click Proceed to Purchase under My Quotes. Items are added to the shopping cart at the offered price for normal checkout.
Can every customer request a quotation and apply a discount?
By default, registered customers can request quotes. Admins can enable guest quotes and allow discounts on quoted products through configuration.
Can guests request quotes without creating an account?
Yes, Guests enter their details and submit a quote request. If email verification is enabled, they confirm it using a six-digit code. A tokenized link lets them track the quote without logging in.
How does auto-approval work for quotes?
Admins set a maximum discount percentage. Quotes within the limit are automatically approved, while requests exceeding it remain pending for manual review.
What happens when a quote expires?
Expired quotes are moved to the Expired status automatically by cron. Customers cannot purchase them unless the admin extends the expiry and reactivates the quote.
Can I restrict quotes to specific customer groups?
Yes, Admins can select eligible customer groups in the General settings. Other shoppers will not see the Add to Quote option.
Does this extension support bundle and grouped products?
Yes, Simple, virtual, downloadable, configurable, bundle, and grouped products are supported, with selected options retained throughout the quote and purchase process.
