Akeneo BigCommerce App lets the user connect Akeneo with BigCommerce and allows to manage the BigCommerce catalog from it. It allows the user to connect multiple Bigcommerce stores with Akeneo and perform the import and export process.
Using the app, users can export products, categories, product options, attributes, custom fields, and multiple images from Akeneo to your BigCommerce store.
Users can map the Akeneo attributes with BigCommerce attributes along with image and image description mappings as well. Mapping for Modifiers is also provided in the app.

The BigCommerce Akeneo app supports the export of Akeneo products and product models to BigCommerce.

User can add multiple BigCommerce credentials in the app and can switch between them as per requirement.

Why do we need the Akeneo BigCommerce App?

Multiple Credential Addition
User can add multiple BigCommerce instances by adding their credentials in the app. To add them, they will tap on Add Credentials in the setup credentials section. They can also do the following -
- Search using Store Name from multiple added credentials.
- Activate or Deactivate the status of a credential.
- Filter credentials based on their activation status.
- Edit a credential by tapping on the edit button.
Map Product Attributes
Once the Akeneo BigCommerce App is set up, the user can proceed with setting up the credentials and perform product attribute mapping. Here they can -
- Map Akeneo attributes with BigCommerce attributes.
- Users can set a fixed value for all products for a particular attribute.
- Add attribute mapping for Bigcommerce custom fields.
- Select Akeneo attributes which will be used as modifiers in BigCommerce.
Additional Image Mapping and Setting
In the other mapping section, the user gets media attribute mapping options. They get the following -
- Select and map attributes to be used images.
- Map text type attribute containing Youtube URL which will be used as Video.
- Add Image Description mapping with the option to set it as a thumbnail image as well.
- Set an attribute group that will be used for attribute importing.
- Checkbox to remove fractional zeros of metric attribute values.
Export and Import Jobs
Akeneo BigCommerce app has multiple export and import jobs to facilitate the easy transfer of product data between the platforms -
- Multiple Export jobs like Attribute and category export and much more.
- User can set conditions on data to be imported and exported in their respective jobs.
- The user can also create a new import/export job as per requirement.
