Akeneo Template Connector allows the store admin to create templates for text, text area, number, and price type product attributes. You can build slugs, product descriptions, special prices tied to other prices, and so on.
With the Akeneo Template Connector, the admin can add product value in the multiple attributes and can also perform mathematical operations like +, -, *, /, and % to be used.

Info Icon
All the supported attribute fields will be displaying an info icon, so you can easily understand which field allows templates.
Trigger Attribute
For trigger attribute fields you can use the "@" operator to display a list of attributes that can be selected with a tab or by clicking on it.
Mathematical Operators
The number and price type fields also allow mathematical operators like +, -, *, /, and % to be used.
Product Filtering
Admins can filter the product grid to identify products and product models using specific templates, facilitating easier and more efficient product management.
Preview Icon
Admin can check the template that is used in the attributes by clicking the preview icon.
Support CSV/XLSX
Admin can import and export the CSV/XLSX to access the rendered text and to call the trigger attribute manually.
Why Do We Need Akeneo Template Connector?
Akeneo Template Connector allows you to create templates for text, text area, number, and price type product attributes. If this module is enabled in your Akeneo backend, the admin can include dynamic product values in the text, text area, price, and number type attributes.
Also, the admin can use the twig filters with the values using the "|" operator, and perform mathematical operations in the number and price type fields.
