OpenCart POS French NF525: Now, the French merchants can digitally secure all of their Point Of Sale transactions using the OpenCart French POS NF525 certified add-on. This extension secures all of the POS receipts, order invoices, and receipt copies with a digital signature on them.
Moreover, if someone tries manipulating these secured receipts the digital signature goes away. As per the New French law NF525, the merchants are now restricted in their ability to modify the complete sales. This restriction brings your software (Point Of Sale System) into accordance with the French anti-fraud measure NF525.

What is the need of this extension?
It has been seen that some of the cash register software and cash registers allow the transaction history to be cleared, thus erasing any record of a collection in the company's accounts; a way to reduce its turnover and circumvent the collection of VAT.
Now, this extension brings your Point Of Sale System into accordance with the French anti-fraud measure NF525. Thus assisting to secure the transactions and check whether the transaction has been tampered with or not.
If the transaction data has tampered or someone edited the order, then the transaction section shows not verified.
We also have OpenCart Restaurant Point Of Sale(POS) System that can be used to reserve restaurant tables and can be managed by the POS agent.
Module Configuration
After the successful installation of the extension, the store owner will be able to configure the point of sale settings. The admin can set up the option to digitally secure the point of sale transactions as per the French Law NF525.

- Select where to display the signatures
- All of the digital signatures are unique.
- The receipts display the SSL signature.
- Secure the - Order Invoice, Original Receipts, or Receipt Copies.
Digital Signature Visibility
After the installation of this add-on, the admin would be able to configure the module so as to set up the visibility of the digital signature. Here, the admin will be able to -
- Enable the extension for use
- Set up the digital signature visibility
- Enable the visibility for order invoice
- Enable the visibility for original receipts
- Enable the visibility for receipt copies
Unique Digital Signature
The digital signature generated for each transaction is unique. This way the the digital signature will be added to the receipt -
- Signature generated automatically
- All signatures are unique
- The first copy has an SSL certified digital signature
- The second and third copies have the digital signature but each one is unique.
