Module Configuration
The admin has to configure the gift card settings, after the successful installation of the module. Here are the options available:
- The admin will set the status of the module as enable or disable.
- After enabling the module the sellers will be able to create gift card products.
- The gift notification template shows either a default message or a custom message.
Gift Card Receiving
The customer will receive the first card details via email. Here are the following received details.
- Customers will receive the gift card details code at their email address.
- The received details like gift card code, description, message, price, and expiration.
- The customer will receive the name of the sender of the gift voucher.
Redeeming Gift Card Discount
The customers will redeem the gift card discount by entering the desired amount.
- Customers can use the gift card discount code on shopping.
- Users will use either the partial amount or the full amount for shopping
- The customer will get a notification of the successfully applied discount.
Gift Card Usage Details
After using the gift card discount the customers will receive the gift card usage details via email.
- Customers will receive gift card usage details at the same email address.
- The details include name, email, gift card code, previous amount, and reduced amount.
- The users will also receive the issue date and the expiration date.
Product Type
The marketplace sellers choose the product type as a gift card while creating the gift card.
- The vendor will get the option of choosing the desired product type.
- For creating the gift card the seller will choose the gift card product type.
