Magento 2 GDPR Extension

If the customer wants to update and delete the personal data then they can send a request to the admin. Customers can mention which specific information needs to be updated or removed.

• Send a request to the store owner to update customer personal data
• The customer also can send a request to delete the personal data.
• Store admin can view all the data delete requests in the grid sent by the customers.
• Customers will receive status update notifications in their email.

The admin can easily view the data update and delete requests in the backend and can change the status of customer requests to - pending, processing, complete, or declined.

• Pending - When a request is sent by the customer.
• Processing – Notify Magento 2 customers that their request is seen.
• Complete – Customer’s request is completed as per requirements.
• Decline – When store admin rejects a request.

For each data update request, the admin will receive an e-mail.

As soon as the customer lands on your website, the customer has to accept or decline the cookie consent. If accepted then the customer can choose which cookies to accept and the ones to disable.

• The Magento 2 cookie notice block is shown on all the storefront pages.
• After the cookie notice is accepted, it will not be shown and will save the data in the system.
• Once the Magento 2 GDPR module is installed, a default cookie static block will be created automatically.
• Customers can accept, decline, or accept all cookies as required.

The admin can easily create the cookie categories that are visible in the Cookie block. Apart from that, the admin can create the cookies and assign them to the respective cookie categories as required.

• Create cookie categories for the cookie block.
• Add multiple cookies as required.
• Assign cookies to the cookie categories as required.
• Make cookie categories as required if needed.
• The default cookie category is already required.

The admin will be able to configure the settings for the theme provided for the cookie block. The admin can make various settings for the cookie block as required.

• Enable or disable the theme for the cookie block.
• The Cookie Popup title, description, and title size can be configured.
• The cookie pop-up location can be set as defined.
• Cookie background color can be defined.
• The logo image can be updated with the option to set the size.
• Accept, decline, and preferred cookie button labels can be set.
• Category popup settings can be made and much more.

The admin in the backend can see the cookie log in a statistical graphical format. The admin can view the cookie log as per the store views for the accepted and rejected cookies by the customers.

• View store view-wise statistical data in graphical format.
• Select the range as - Today, Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, and Current month.
• The admin can view the data for the accepted and rejected cookies.
• The admin can view the user identity, IP address, date, and consent status of the customers.

The customers after login will see a side panel option - “Customer GDPR Data” under which the customers can see the GDPR data, request data access, and the request list tabs.

Here, for the customer GDPR data section, the customers can -

• View and read the policy document that was set up under the agreements by the admin.
• Agree to anonymize the customer's personal data with random values.
• Change the status of the agreement by opting out of it by checking the respective option.
