What’s the need for Magento 2 Job Board Extension?

Basic Options to Setup Job Board
The admin of the webstore needs to configure the various settings that are required for the configuration of the extension -
- The admin can set the name that will be used within the email templates and the other places where the admin name is required.
- Enter the email address that will be used in job board transactional emails.
- Set the landing page heading title to be displayed at the frontend.
- Set the job board content using the WYSIWYG editor.
- Enter the allowed file types for the resume, separated by a comma.
- Select the notification email template for the admin
- Select the notification email template for the applicant.

Add/Manage Job Category
The admin can manage the job categories from the store backend and the applicants can easily navigate to the various job categories at the store frontend. This is the very first thing the admin needs to create before creating the jobs. Here the admin will be able to -
- Enter the name for the category to create
- Set the sort order to apply for the category
- Enable or Disable the status of the category
- See success message on category creation
- Edit/Delete created categories
- Enable/Disable/Delete categories via mass action

Add/Manage Jobs
After creating the job categories according to the requirement, the admin can add jobs for the created job categories. Under this section, the admin can see all the created jobs and can enable, disable, or delete any as required. Here, the admin will be able to create a job by -
- Selecting the job category via drop-down option
- Entering the job designation
- Entering the job description Entering Job eligibility criteria, location
- Setting up the skill required for the job designation
- Selecting the salary type as Annual or monthly as required
- Entering the salary for the job, experience, sort order, and enable/disable the job for use.

Manage Content & Applications
While creating the jobs, the admin can easily add the content for the job using the WYSIWYG editor. It allows the admin to create a nice and richer looking content for the job description.
Apart from that, the admin can also manage the applications for the various jobs that have been posted on the job board. Here, the admin will -
- Manage the content for the various job postings
- Manage all the applications for the posted jobs
- Create job applications on customer’s behalf
- View the resume uploaded by the applicants

Job Application Submission by Job Applicant
The applicants can easily apply to the various job openings that have been posted by the admin of the webstore. To reach a job posting, the applicants can tap the Jobs link available in the header and footer of the website. This navigates the applicants to the job board where the applicant can easily search for jobs as per the created job categories.
