Magento 2 Price Drop Alert: Price Drop Alert for Magento 2 extension allows the customers to receive email alerts whenever a product is available at a lower price. Any customer can subscribe or unsubscribe for receiving a price drop alert for any product. A customer just needs to enter their email address and click the subscribe button.

Why do we need this module?
As business entrepreneurs, we must have noticed that online shoppers are more lured to buying products that bear a discounted price or offer prices. Also, if a customer wishes to buy a product whose price is high currently, he would expect the price of the respective product to go down so that he could buy it at a feasible price.
Magento 2 Price Drop Alert is one such extension that encourages the merchants to notify their customers about the reduced prices of product over emails, by simply triggering price drop alert. The customers will receive an email as soon as there is a price drop so that they can proceed with the purchase.
Not only will this extension add on to sales conversions, but also make customers come back for their buying needs.
Price Drop Alert Basic Options
After installing the module, the admin has to go to the back-end panel and do the module configuration. The following options are available for price drop alert extension:
- Set the module status as enable or disable.
- Enable the Product Price drop on All Products or a Specific product.
- Select an email template when a customer unsubscribes from Price Drop alert.
- Select email template for subscription email.
- Select price drop alert notification email template.
Product View
On the product page, under the add to cart button, the users will be seeing the price drop alert module. They just need to enter their email address and click the subscribe icon.
- Guest users can also subscribe to price drop alert.
- The users can view subscribed successfully notification.
- If a user is already subscribed to a product, a notification appears.
- The registered user can easily unsubscribe from here.
Subscription Log
The admin can view the list of all the users who have subscribed to the price drop alert. The admin can go to Price Drop Alert>Price Drop Alert Log. The following information is visible:
- Subscriber ID and email address.
- Date of subscription.
- Product name and thumbnail.
- Subscription status as - enable or disable.
- Subscribed price of the product.
- The admin can change the status of the subscription.
Email View
As soon as users subscribe to price drop alert, they receive a confirmation email about the subscription. Now, whenever the price of the product goes down, the subscribed users will receive an email.
- The users will receive an email for every price drop.
- The product link is available in the email.
- Users can unsubscribe to the price drop alert from the email.
Price Drop Alert for Magento 2 Features
