Magento 2 Scan and Go extension facilitates the customers to purchase products through a mobile website and self-checkout at a physical store. The customers simply will scan the product barcode from their mobile web browser which will then add that particular product to their carts.
A QR Code is generated after completing the checkout and placing the order. An assigned verifier checks the status of the order and verifies it by scanning the QR Code. They can verify the orders which are in the Processing or Complete state. Admin assigns a Verifier from the backend.

Why Do We Need Magento 2 Scan and Go Extension?
Magento 2 Scan and Go extension enables a self checkout system for the customers to purchase products directly from the mobile website. It reduces the need to go to sales agents for the customers and they can simply scan a barcode to add the products to the cart and process the checkout.
This extension also allows order verification once a customer has placed the order. A QR code is generated post-order placement and a verifier account can verify it.

Customer Self Checkout - Product Purchase
Once Magento 2 Scan and Go extension has been installed and configured by admin, the following -
- Customer will use their mobile phone camera to scan the product barcode.
- Once scanned, the product will be added to the cart.
- Product quantity can be increased or decreased as per requirement.
- After the order is placed, a QR code is generated containing the order details.
