Point of Sale (POS) System for Pimcore: POS refers to a system where the merchant can create the order from his physical store using the POS software and the order will be generated in the Pimcore.
The basic feature of the POS system for Pimcore is to create the order in front of the customer so that customer can purchase the goods from his/her physical store as well as from his/her online eCommerce store.
With the help of this module, merchants can manage their inventory and customers. And the most important thing is that they can easily manage their day-to-day transactions without any hassle. This module is a powerful tool to manage sales and revenue. Admin can also set up the physical store along with the online Pimcore store.
Please Note - Point of Sale (POS) System module will only work for Pimcore E-Commerce.

What is Pimcore Point of Sale Module?
Pimcore is an award-winning open-source software for customer experience management, product information management (PIM/MDM), digital asset management (DAM) and eCommerce. The admin can create multiple outlets as per requirement -
- The admin can easily see the list of all the outlets.
- The admin can edit and delete the created outlets.
- The admin can assign products to each outlet.
- The can specify the product quantity for each outlet.
- The admin can enable/disable any outlets as well.
POS Agent Management
The admin can create POS agents and manage them from the admin panel -
- The admin can create multiple POS agents.
- The admin can assign outlet to POS agent.
- The admin can change status enable/disable any POS agent.
- The admin can edit and delete the POS agent as well.
- The admin can change the password of the agent account.
POS Inventory Management
The admin can create the product and assign them to outlets -
- The admin can manage the product inventory for each outlet.
- The admin can enable/disable any product for any outlet.
- Only enable products will display in the POS panel.
- The admin can assign the product quantity.
Order Return Management
POS agent can manage all the orders and returns orders -
- The agent can create a return for the orders.
- The required products can be selected from the order for return.
- The agent can select the quantity of product for return.
- The agent can see a list of all return orders.
- Guest user can also place the order.
POS Shopping Cart
POS agent can easily add the product in the shopping cart and place the order -
- The agent can select the customer from the customer list.
- The agent can apply the coupon code for the order.
- Tax will be displayed on the shopping cart.
- The agent can add a note while placing the order.
- The agent can check change amount which needs to give back the customer.
Agent Details Management
The POS agent can also manage their details from POS panel. The agent change below details -
- First Name
- Last Name
- User Name
- Old Password
- New Password
- Confirm New Password
The changes will be reflected at the back-end of the POS where the admin can see the changes.
