Note -
A server is required to remove product image background. So, we need to install this on your server. Please contact us for installation.

PrestaShop AI Image Background Remover Configuration
Harnessing the power of AI technology, the AI Image Background Remover module removes the background from product images. For performing image background removal, the admin needs to specify:
- Host name
- API token key
Remove Background from Product Images
Post-installation, a new option “Remove image background” option gets available under “Description” tab on the product page in the back office. On clikcing this option, a popup will appear on the page where all the product images are listed.
You can select the product images for which you wish to remove backgrounds and click on apply button. Once applied, background from the product images will be removed and the original & processed images will display in separate columns in a popup.
Now, select the images and click on ‘Replace Selected’ button. On clicking the button, the original product images will be replaced by processed ones.
Customer View
Once the admin has removed backgrounds from the images, the customers will get to see the clear product images on the store. Removing distracting backgrounds will help you showcase features more professionally and allow the customers to better engage with the product.
