Magento 2 SSO (Single Sign On)

The Magento 2 SSO module allows simultaneous logins via an option to enter the login credentials in the third-party application and be logged in to Magento 2 store simultaneously. The admin can manage and add new integration by:

• Name: enter the name of the client who can log in from his/her Magento 2 credentials.
• URL: enter the URL link of the website which will be integrated for SSO.

This will generate the automated client credentials required for the integration.

The admin can easily manage multiple integrations. For, SSO integration management, an SSO tab is available in the Admin panel for:

• Creating and adding a new integration.
• Viewing all the created integrations with their details such as Name of client, Email Id of client and the URL.
• Editing the existing SSO integration details like client information.
• Deleting the existing SSO integration.

The admin can also add UVdesk integration at Magento 2 Admin panel. This will allow the users to log in to the UVdesk Helpdesk system using their existing Magento store credentials. This will simplify the procedure of creating a support ticket as the users can use the Single Sign-On feature easily. The admin can add UVdesk integration by:

• Name: Enter the name of the client who can log in to the online store using the Magento 2 HelpDesk Integrated System.
• URL: enter the URL link of the UVdesk Helpdesk system which will be integrated for SSO.

This will generate the automated client credentials required for the UVdesk Magento 2 SSO integration.

Integrating the LDAP Server with the Magento2 Single Sign-On help synchronize the newly created customers to the Magento 2 Store.

• Initially, the user will have to authenticate with the Magento2 LDAP Server.
• The Login DN and the Password is retrieved from the LDAP admin page.
• The LDAP configurations are set under Stores > SSO Connector > LDAP Configurations.
• The admin needs to add the server id as well as the port number.
• The name of the organizational unit and the domain component is retrieved from the LDAP server page.
• Customer synchronization with the LDAP server can be enabled or disabled by the admin.

Magento 2 SSO module allows the customers to use their existing credentials for logging into various third-party applications such as UVdesk.

• The admin can integrate his/her UVdesk support portal with their Magento Store.

• After log-in from the Magento credential, the user can create a ticket for any support query from the UVdesk portal.

• See an option of “Continue with Magento 2 User” while login in into the integrated third-party application.
• By clicking the “Continue with Magento 2 User” button the user will be redirected to Magento store login as the authorized client.
